Katie Maloney is in mourning.
The Vanderpump Rules alum shared that her dad Richard Maloney died on Jan. 5.
“I feel like I am a stranger to grief,” she wrote on Instagram Jan. 10. “As much as it has touched my life and so many I love. It’s not something I have become comfortable or well acquainted with.”
Maloney—who finalized her divorce with costar Tom Schwartz in 2022—went on to share how she was processing the news.
“I have been met with a variety of emotions, numbness, peace, complete udder sadness, and even at times guilt,” she continued. “My dad was everyone’s favorite, he was so charming, made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We shared the love of dad jokes and he had an endless supply.”
In her touching tribute, Maloney noted how her father was “always so supportive” of her endeavors, before sharing some of her favorite memories of him.
