Why Suits’ Gabriel Macht Has “Little Interest” in Return to Hollywood

‘Suits’ Alum Gabriel Macht Reveals He and Wife Jacinda Barrett Have Moved Out of the U.S.

Gabriel Macht won’t be suiting up for a new acting project anytime soon.

Shortly after revealing that he and his wife Jacinda Barrett moved out of the U.S., the Suits alum got candid about why he has no plans to return to Hollywood apart from reprising his role as Harvey Spector in the show’s spinoff series, Suits: LA.

“I had very little interest in coming back to work as an actor right now,”  Gabriel told People in an interview published Jan. 29, “because I spent so much time [doing it].”

And the 53-year-old named two endeavors that he’s focused on prioritizing instead: working as a creative partner for Bear Fight Whiskey and parenting his and Jacinda’s children: daughter Satine, 17, and son Luca, 10.

“This was my time to really raise my kids,” Gabriel continued, “and to do this creative stuff like Bear Fight.”

As for why he made an exception for Suits: LA, which premieres Feb. 25 on NBC? The Because I Said So actor—who guest-stars in the spinoff’s first three episodes—wasn’t necessarily thinking about what he wanted.
