The Hottest Summer Songs of 2025: Sabrina Carpenter, Lorde and Tate McRae! (Exclusive)

The Kid LAROI appears to be making a move.

Amid speculation that he and Tate McRae—who went Instagram official with their romance in 2024—have broken up, the “What’s the Move?” artist responded to a fan accusing him and his team of seemingly shading her online.

“So yall know I have NOTHING to do with this,” he wrote on X July 25, “and I DO NOT co sign this behavior whatsoever. working to get these removed.”

In addition to his message, the 21-year-old posted a screenshot of apparent texts between himself and members on his team, asking them to get to the bottom of the situation.

“Tate and I are on good terms,” his text message read, appearing to confirm his split from the “Sports Car” singer, “and this just looks messy / whack.”

The “Stay” singer’s recent social media post comes just one month after he shared insight into his bond with Tate, 22.

“She’s the hardest working artist I’ve ever met in my entire life,” LAROI told Elle in June. “And I don’t say that because she’s my girlfriend.”
