Despite their altogether ooky demeanors onscreen, the Wednesday cast have a lot of love to give.

In fact, the stars of the Netflix series, including Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers and Joy Sunday, are so close, their group chats number in the teens.

As Emma revealed to E! News in an exclusive interview, “There’s too many,” to which Joy added, “Yeah there’s about 18.”

But for Joy—who plays siren Bianca in the series—there’s a simple explanation for the many group threads. “You know how when you save a file in your computer and it’s like, ‘Final-final-final?’” she actress continued. It’s pretty much a bunch of those group chats. We just keep making them and renaming them.” (For more from the Wednesday cast, tune into E! News August 4 at 11 p.m.)

As for what exactly goes down in the many chats, Emma—the actress behind Wednesday’s werewolf roommate Enid—revealed the content is actually pretty mundane for a group of outcasts.
