Travis Kelce Skipped Chiefs’ After-Party Following Super Bowl Loss

Travis Kelce couldn’t do it with a broken heart.

After the Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in the Feb. 9 Super Bowl, the tight end sat out his team’s after-party. Instead, the 35-year-old—whose girlfriend Taylor Swift was in the stands as his team fell to the Eagles 40-22—made a brief cameo while FaceTiming the Chainsmokers, who poked fun at his absence.

“I just played your f–king party,” Alex Pall and Drew Taggart said in a video shared to X Feb. 10, to which Travis flashed a cheeky smile as someone shouted, referencing DJ Dom Dolla, “Dom is here too!”

While Travis skipped the post-game festivities, the party itself was far from empty. Chiefs CEO and chairman Clark Hunt’s daughter, Gracie Hunt, reposted videos of the night to her Instagram Stories, showing people dressed in red taking part in celebrations.

Travis’ decision to sit-out is a bold departure from last year, when the three-time Super Bowl champion was spotted partying with the Chainsmokers, Taylor, and teammates following their win over the San Francisco 49ers.
