Amber Portwood has returned to Instagram.

The Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star shared her first post on the social media platform since last year, indicating that she’s excited to reconnect with her followers with a renewed presence online.

“Hi loves!” she captioned a photo of herself Dec. 12 holding a cat edited to make it look like she’s made of gold. “It’s been a year long break from social media, but I’m back!”

Amber’s previously most recent post came Dec. 30, 2023, where the 34-year-old posted a meme of herself and wrote, “As the year ends I’m grateful for each of you. You’ve stood with me through it all and here we stand together. So many lessons were learned and I’m ready for what 2024 has to offer.”

While her Instagram account has been dormant all year, Amber has been posting regularly on TikTok throughout 2024.

In fact, the reality star posted the gold photo of herself on TikTok back in November. She captioned the photo at the time, “We know if we have a heart of gold inside and if we are hardened like gold inside, too. Sending so much love and positive energy.”
