Sophia Bush is done with her divorce.
The One Tree Hill star has reached a divorce settlement with estranged husband Grant Hughes, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The pair—who met during a New Year’s trip to Nicaragua over a decade ago—entered into a confidential settlement on Dec. 30, per the outlet.
Bush—who was previously married to costar Chad Michael Murray from 2005 to 2006—first sparked romance rumors with Hughes in 2020 before tying the knot in June 2022.
For their nuptials, they hosted a ceremony in Oklahoma as a way to shine a light on his home state.
“Imagine what we could do if we turned our wedding into an event to showcase Tulsa,” Bush recalled to Vogue in 2022. “The cultural renaissance happening there. Tech. Philanthropy. Civil rights justice. The art. The leadership. We could focus all of this attention and turn the spotlight on them.”
However, her union with the entrepreneur was short-lived. She filed for divorce just over a year later, in August 2023, and actually met current girlfriend Ashlyn Harris through a support group for women experiencing relationship issues. By October, Bush was dating the U.S. Women’s National Team soccer star, who herself filed for divorce from wife Ali Krieger one month prior.
