James Van Der Beek Says He’s “In a Good Place” Amid Cancer Battle (Exclusive)

Randy Moss is on the road to recovery.

The former NFL star shared Dec. 13 that he is a “cancer survivor,” explaining he was just released from the hospital after a six-day stay following a major procedure.

“I’m nursing myself back,” he said during a 16-minute Instagram Live. “It’s gonna be a little tough road with some chemo and radiation, but like I said, man, I’m good. I’m here with my family.”

In addition to his family—which includes his wife Lydia Moss and their daughter Lordes-Randi, as well as his children Sydney, Thaddeus, Lexi, Montigo, Senali, Sylee and Lyric from former relationships—Randy, 47, thanked his “prayer warriors” for their support.

“I didn’t think I would ever be in a position like this, as healthy as I thought I was,” he continued. “But things took a turn for the worse and I asked for my prayer warriors, I asked for my family to be able to surround me and put their hands on me through this trying time and y’all best believe your boy came through.”
