More Pets Available For Adoption at Orange County’s Animal Shelter

Howard

Howard has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for about two weeks after coming in as a stray. Staff notations say he’s an energetic pet who’s very motivated by treats. 

Staff also note that Howard would benefit from some training and routine with an owner who can handle his strength. 

Howard is currently available for adoption, and he’s also eligible for the shelter’s February adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Frog

Frog has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for about three weeks after coming in as a stray. Staff descriptions say she’s an energetic pet who would be best suited for an active home. 

She came into the shelter with a male Siberian husky named Toad, and the two are bonded. Staff notations say the pair would thrive in a home where they can be adopted together.

Frog is currently available for adoption, and she’s also eligible for the shelter’s February adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Willow has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for a week after he was returned by a previous adopter. 

Staff don’t have many details available to offer about Willow’s personality, but he is currently available for adoption. 

OC Animal Care currently has fewer cats available for adoption during the winter months, when breeding slows down.

OC Animal Care, the county-run animal shelter in Tustin, is open daily for adoption visits from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, visitors can freely walk through the kennel areas to view the available animals.
