It’s the last day of our Spring Member Drive and I’m excited to share a few exciting updates.

First, we have just $1,035 left to raise to meet our $16,000 goal. With your help right now, I know we’ll reach that goal by midnight.

Secondly, you may recall that I’ve shared how MinnPost has been growing and will continue this growth in 2026 and beyond. Well, we’re thrilled to share that we’re bringing on Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Steve Sack as a weekly contributor to MinnPost. Steve’s story is pretty special; he has learned how to draw with his left hand after a bout with cancer left him unable to use his right hand. You can look forward to seeing his work on the MinnPost website on Thursdays, starting today!

Not all newsrooms can say that they’re growing in 2026. MinnPost is able to thanks to the generosity of readers like you who love local news and show that appreciation by donating.

Will you join 5,000 members who care about independent journalism and make a gift today?
