Kristin Juszczyk x Athleta Sports Bra Makes Breast Cancer Awareness Chic

Fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk made waves with her viral NFL-inspired looks and her brand, Off Season. Now, she’s turning her attention to your workout wardrobe.

The 31-year-old has partnered with Athleta for a limited-edition reimagining of the brand’s popular Train Free Sports Bra, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The collaboration is deeply personal for Kristin, who drew inspiration from her mother’s breast cancer journey. “For me, it was really important to collaborate with a brand that truly understands female empowerment. Athleta lives, breathes, and eats female empowerment, which I love so much,” she shared.

“When we worked together, it was important that we created a line representing the fact that one in eight women will face breast cancer in their lifetime — which is really eye-opening.”

“So when we created the phrase ‘check these out,’” she said, referring to the text emblazoned on the sports bra, “we wanted it to have buzz, but also serve as a reminder to women to prioritize breast health — whether through self-exams, mammograms, or regular doctor visits. Second, 13% of proceeds are going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. That was incredibly important to us — to give back,” she explained.
