Kim Kardashian’s Futuristic Maison Margiela Jumpsuit at DVF Awards

Kim Kardashian isn’t keeping up with fashion norms.

While attending Diane von Furstenberg‘s 16th annual DVF Awards in Venice, Italy, on Aug. 28—where Kim was one of five honorees awarded for their commitment to improving the lives of women—the reality star turned heads in an ensemble that looked like it walked off the set of Dune.

The futuristic outfit consisted of a silvery gray jumpsuit from Maison Margiela, featuring an attached cape and high neckline. The draping garment—which included billowing sleeves and wide-legged trousers—featured a reverse bodysuit, with fabric gathered over the pants.

Letting the outfit speak for itself, Kim kept her accessorizing minimal with only two rings. For glam, she kept her hair down and sleek straight with a middle part and wore a reflective lip.

The 44-year-old was awarded for her work with the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, an organization that works to end mass incarceration in California.

The other four women honored for their advocacy work included Hanin Ahmed (Vital Voices Crisis Response Program), supermodel Christy Turlington Burns (Every Mother Counts), Fany Kuiru Castro (COICA) and Giulia Minoli (Una Nessuna Centomila).
