Jessica Simpson is sharing a little bit of what she’s looking for.

After announcing her split from Eric Johnson earlier this year, the “With You” singer isn’t shying away from details about her dating life—and what she may find irresistible.

“I think I’m into younger men at the moment,” Jessica told Extra Oct. 16. “When you’re newly separated…I feel like younger guys kinda like the confidence of an older woman, I’m discovering.”

Indeed, the singer—who shares kids Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6, with Eric—can chalk it up to one simple premise: “I am having fun!”

Jessica is also embracing a new era when it comes to her career, including her role in Ryan Murphy‘s upcoming legal drama All’s Fair.

“I feel like at 45, I’m born again,” Jessica exclusively told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes at the show’s premiere. “It’s like, a resurrection of everything entertainment for me and it’s so nice.”

Not to mention, she’s also celebrating performing again after releasing new music.
