Jeff Bezos’ Fiancée Lauren Sánchez Shares Cryptic Message

Lauren Sánchez is primed for change.

The 55-year-old—who has been engaged to billionaire Jeff Bezos since 2023—shared an inspirational message after alluding to difficulties she’s faced in recent weeks.

“Some years start with turbulence,” she wrote in a Feb. 10 Instagram post alongside a selfie from inside a helicopter, “but that’s just the wind reminding you to spread your wings.”

The flying enthusiast—who earned her helicopter license in 2016 and has since started an aerial filming production company—continued, “Good to be back in the air…Here’s to flying farther than we ever imagined.”

While Sánchez was vague in terms of the “turbulence” she has encountered this year (and left the comments section of the post turned off), she was no stranger to critics last month after her appearance at President Donald Trump’s Jan. 20 inauguration.

During the January event in the U.S. State Capitol, the former Good Day LA morning show host—who shares kids Evan Whitesell, 18, and Ella Whitesell, 15, with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell, as well as son Nikko Gonzalez, 23, with NFL player Tony Gonzalez—donned a risqué all-white outfit, including an Alexander McQueen suit jacket over a low-cut lacy bustier, which left many viewers talking.
