How To Get Sleek, Frizz-Free Hair This Winter

Just like your skin, it’s important to keep your hair hydrated during the cold winter months. Be sure to use a leave-in conditioner or hair mask that delivers tons of moisture, such as the ones we found from Le Doux, below.

Keeping your hair hydrated isn’t just key to combatting dry, brittle hair, it can help prevent breakage that can result in pesky flyaways.

Speaking of breakage, using a satin scrunchie, sleeping in satin bonnet, and using a brush designed for detangling wet hair can all help prevent damage. Ultimately, less breakage equals less frizz and less little hairs sticking up all over your head.

If taming flyaways feels like a full-time job this season, try applying a smoothing cream prior to styling. You can even mist some hairspray onto a brush and use small strokes to get those rogue hairs into place.

As a last step, make sure to use a hair oil. Doing so can not only revitalize dull hair and keep your ends moisturized and frizz-free, it helps add a shiny finish, so this step is also crucial if you want silky, glass-like hair!

Ready for frizz-free winter locks?
