How Meghan Markle’s As Ever Logo Subtly Honors Prince Harry

Meghan Markle is all about the details.

The Duchess of Sussex unveiled the logo for her lifestyle company As Ever—which she originally debuted in 2024 as American Riviera Orchard—incorporating some personal touches influenced by her husband Prince Harry.

The minimalist crest, featured at the top of the brand’s newly-launched website, prominently features a palm tree in an apparent nod to the couple’s home in California. The inclusion of two hummingbirds is also significant, given that Harry, 40, has a special memory involving the birds from shortly after the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

“Soon after our return, a hummingbird got into the house,” the Duke of Sussex wrote in his 2023 memoir, Spare. “I had a devil of a time guiding it out, and the thought occurred that maybe we should start shutting the doors, despite those heavenly ocean breezes.”

When a friend suggested the bird’s arrival could be “a sign,” the royal began reflecting on the hummingbird’s significance.
