Hannah Einbinder won’t be a hack for much longer.
The Hacks actress—who won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress at the 2025 Emmy Awards Sept. 14—confirmed that the upcoming season of HBO comedy series will be its last while reflecting on how she feels about its upcoming filming schedule.
“I think it will feel different,” Hannah told Live From E!: 2025 Emmys host Heather McMahan on the red carpet of the award ceremony, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze. “We’re going to start next week, and knowing it’s the last season is really bittersweet.”
Despite the difficult end, she added, “But I think it’s right. It’s nice to do something as many times as it should be done [and] not over stay your welcome. Rip it and do it and laugh and cry.”
Even though the show—which also stars Jean Smart—is coming to a close, Hannah is grateful for the laughs, which she also provided during her acceptance speech.
