Oliver Hudson is not afraid to go overboard with the laughs.
That’s why the Nashville alum, who is the son of Goldie Hawn and her musician ex Bill Hudson, had no problem making a joke at his own expense during a fishing trip with friends.
Sharing a photo of himself holding up his catch of the day, Oliver wrote on Instagram Stories July 30, “Sometimes smaller is better… That’s what my wife says.”
The cheeky post comes just one week after he and wife Erinn Bartlett—who he married in 2006—had a family outing with their kids Wilder, 17, Bodhi, 14, and Rio, 12, to the New York City premiere of Happy Gilmore 2. The couple were also joined by Goldie, who couldn’t help but to rave about her young granddaughter’s acting aspirations.
“I don’t think we have a choice frankly,” the First Wives Club alum told Access Hollywood on the red carpet, explaining that she sees a lot of daughter Kate Hudson‘s spirit in Rio. “All I want her to be is happy.”
