Rebecca Yarros is giving the BookTok community the update they’ve been waiting for.
As the author celebrated the release of her latest fantasy romance novel, Onyx Storm—the third installment in her Empyrean book series—she offered details about the forthcoming TV adaptation of her 2023 bestseller, The Fourth Wing.
“I’ve read two version of the script now,” she told fans at an Onyx Storm release party in Los Angeles Jan. 20, as captured in a TikTok post, “and it is, oh my god.”
While Rebecca, 43, could hardly contain her excitement about the small-screen version of The Fourth Wing—which is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Michael B. Jordan‘s Outlier Society—she admitted to initially being apprehensive about the project.
“I was super scared to read it,” she confessed, “because I think when you hand somebody your baby and you say, ‘Tell me what you think is important in here,’ you’re kind of like, ‘It’s all important!’”
