10. Tampa, Florida

Known for its sunshine, towering palm trees, and pristine beaches, it’s not hard to see why so many people are flocking to Tampa. Alongside skyscrapers and plenty of housing developments, residents of this Floridian community enjoy the Tampa Riverwalk where eateries, shops, and a fantastic bar scene have much to offer. Today, Tampa’s population stands at 393,264 and has increased by 0.80% from 2022 to 2023.

9. Cary, North Carolina

Next on the list of top fastest growing cities in the US is Cary. Public parks, tree-lined streets, and ample employment opportunities are each attractive factors that draw in new people. Nestled in the middle of North Carolina, Cary is also home to state parks, nature preserves, and other worthwhile, family-friendly attractions. All things considered, it’s safe to say this community won’t be hurting for growth in the years to come. In 2024, Cary maintains a population of 180,227 and saw a 0.91% surge in growth from 2022 to 2023.

8. Reno, Nevada

There’s something for everyone to love in Reno. Whether you’re looking for an outdoorsy day in the desert, a relaxing time at the spa, or wonderful new restaurants to explore, this Nevada community has it all. Reno is also number eight among the 10 fastest growing cities in the US, due to its cultural exhibits and opportunities to sail along the gorgeous Lake Tahoe. This year, Reno’s population stands at 278,577, marking a 1.79% growth increase from 2022 to 2023.
