Wasp, Strawberry Shortcake and Buffalos were all facing a potential breakup with The Masked Singer during the Dec. 11 semi-finals.

But unfortunately, it was Strawberry Shortcake who fell just, well, short of making it to next week’s season finale after she was eliminated.

Before taking the stage to perform a powerful cover of Selena Gomez‘s “Lose You to Love Me,” the mystery celebrity reflected on her emotional journey on the series.

“This season’s competition has been no cake walk,” Strawberry Shortcake admitted. “What no one tells you is that, like a good cake, Hollywood is layered. Sure, it sparkles and is super fun, but there’s also so much pressure to make it big and it comes with a lot of rejection. A little bit of self-doubt and a dash of feeling like you’ve poured your whole heart into something people might not ever see. That’s why I think so many people start to feel disenchanted with their dreams. That’s what happened to me.”

She went on to reveal what led to her leaving Hollywood.
