Craig Conover Shared Plans to Marry Paige DeSorbo Weeks Before Breakup

It looks like Craig Conover‘s relationship didn’t turn out exactly how he planned.

Three weeks before Paige DeSorbo revealed she and the Southern Charm star broke up, Craig explained how the pair intended to take their romance to the next level in the near future.

“We know we’re going to get married one day, and when it happens, it’ll be a lot of fun,” Craig told People in an interview published Dec. 5, “but whenever that is, who knows?”

In fact, the Bravo star credited those future plans with inspiring him to quit drinking, as sobriety would help him “become more of a husband and father material.”

“We’re playing the long game,” Craig shared. “It would be easy to go for instant gratification, but the foundation that we’re building is so that we die together one day, not just make it fun.”

And while the 35-year-old didn’t have an exact timeline for when he and Paige, 32, would exchange vows, he didn’t believe that was a problem.
