As of Sept. 9, the DJI Osmo Action 4 standard combo is down to just $249 at Amazon. While that’s not the cheapest it’s ever been, it still saves you 17% or $50 on the usual list price of $299. The standard combo comes with the waterproof action camera itself, plus one extreme battery, a horizontal-vertical protective frame, a quick-release adapter mount, a curved adhesive base, and more.
GoPro may be the gold standard when it comes to action cameras, but the DJI Osmo Action 4 “makes a good argument for buying an action camera that’s not a GoPro,” our friends at PCMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) said in their review. It can take on the elements (freeze resistant, waterproof up to 59 feet), has a clean and intuitive interface, lasts up to 2.5 hours per charge, has excellent digital stabilization, and excels in low light situations.
