We’re just one week away from Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days — aka October Prime Day — and earbuds deals are starting to roll in.
While the deals aren’t nearly as extensive as we expect them to be come Oct. 7 and 8 — the official days of the sale — there are a few notable deals worth checking out, both for noise-cancelling and open earbuds options.

As expected, Amazon’s marked down its noise-cancelling Echo Buds an impressive 71% ahead of the sale, but you do need a Prime membership to take advantage of the deal. Less expected was a first-time markdown on the second-gen Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds, which just hit the market on Sept. 10.

The second-gen Bose QC Ultra earbuds don’t exactly reinvent the wheel from their previous gen, but they’re still some of the best noise-cancelling earbuds money can buy. Their asking price is high, though, so this small discount is a welcome one, especially considering they just became available to consumers a few weeks ago. If you’re looking for top-of-the-line noise cancellation and comfort that makes earbuds wearable all day long, you’re not likely to be disappointed with these buds.

Why we like it
