Vanessa Lachey and Nick Lachey make sure they keep it steamy in their pods.

After 14 years of marriage, the Love is Blind hosts admit that they are in a phase of their romance where they have to make time to turn up the heat in the bedroom.

“He’s like, ‘What, schedule a sex day?’” Vanessa told Brides in a joint interview with Nick published Feb. 11 about his reaction to her idea. It sounds weird when you say that, so we decided: Wednesday—hump day.”

As Nick added of their weekly arrangement, “Happy hump day and calendar dump day.”

But, of course, that’s not the only reason their marriage has remained strong for more than a decade. The pair—who are parents to Camden, 12, Brooklyn, 10, and Phoenix, 8—agree that another key is separating the business and pleasure.

“I don’t want the time that we have for intimacy and connection to be taken over by logistics, but that’s our life,” Vanessa said. “I think we’re coming into an age of having to have a hump day and a logistics day.”
