TikToker Hannah Hiatt Responds to Claim She’s Ruby Franke “2.0”

Hannah Hiatt is setting the record straight on serious accusations against her family.

The TikToker—whose video showing the 17 dirty diapers she had strewn around her house went viral in October—responded to allegations of mistreatment against her toddler son James.

In a since-deleted video, James sat in the child seat of a grocery cart during a family outing. As Hiatt’s husband walked toward the boy, he threw his hands up over his face.

The clip sparked concerns from some TikTok users, while others alleged that James was “terrified” of Hiatt and her husband. One commenter even called her the “2.0” version of controversial parenting YouTuber Ruby Franke, who is currently serving prison time on child abuse charges, prompting Hiatt to clap back to the accusations.

“To be compared, right now, to Ruby Franke is absolutely comical,” Hiatt said in a Nov. 30 TikTok. “It’s hilarious, really. We live in a world nowadays where people will turn nothing into something.”
