Taylor Swift Speaks Out About “Heartbreaking” L.A. Fires

Taylor Swift is doing her part amid a delicate situation.

Following the Jan. 7 outbreak of several wildfires across the Los Angeles area, the “I Did Something Bad” singer shared a message on social media addressing the effects of the natural disaster.

“The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold,” Swift wrote in an Instagram Stories post Jan. 16. “So much suffering, loss and destruction.”

The 35-year-old—who is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce—went on to encourage her followers to get involved in the ongoing relief efforts as she shared a list of organizations she has made donations to.

“As so many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild,” she continued. “If you feel compelled or able to donate, please do.”
