David DeLuise was enchanted by Taylor Swift‘s appearance at Selena Gomez’s wedding.
While reflecting on his onscreen daughter’s real-life nuptials with Benny Blanco, the Wizards of Waverly Place patriarch revealed one of his favorite moments of the intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara Sept. 27 was chatting with the “Wildest Dreams” singer.
“If I have to say one, it’s being around Taylor,” David said on his wife Julia DeLuise’s Instagram Story Sept. 29. “She’s just amazing. The energy that was popping off of her.”
Julia agreed, noting that the “Lavender Haze” singer approached the pair and fellow Wizards costar Jennifer Stone during the night’s events.
“She walked over while we were waiting for Selena to come to get married, and she knows Jennifer, so she came straight toward us,” Julia said in a separate Instagram Story, per People. “When she walked in, all these other people were already there, but it was like the heavens opened up and an angel descended, and it was her. She walked in and she walked up to us and we talked.”
And Taylor’s kindness wasn’t the only magical part of the night. As David described, the ceremony was special, too.
