Sydney Chandler now has clearer eyes going into Hollywood.
The 29-year-old daughter of Kyle Chandler addressed why she was recently excluded from a Variety cover of the Alien: Earth cast despite being on the FX sci-fi series, explaining that she “did not know at the time it was a dealbreaker” to decline participating in an on-camera game with her costars with the outlet.
“It was really unfortunate,” Sydney told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published Aug. 12. “I really wanted to be there for the photo shoot, and I was ready to talk anything and everything Alien.”
Sydney said she turned down starring in the video, in which her costars Timothy Olyphant and Noah Hawley answered personal questions about each other, because she “felt uncomfortable doing something like that.”
“Again, new to this; I haven’t done something like that before,” she added. “Unfortunately, I was uninvited from the rest of the shoot. I never meant to offend.”
