Actor Awards 2026: Ryan Michelle Bathe Reveals How Sterling K. Brown “Maintains the Sexy”
Sterling K. Brown is sharing how he makes his bedtime routine feel like paradise.
The This is Us star—who wed wife Ryan Michelle Bathe in 2006—made an eyebrow-raising confession about how he unwinds at the end of a long day—with or without his other half.
“Sometimes I go to bed before the missus,” Sterling, 49, told Jennifer Hudson during a March 19 episode of the Jennifer Hudson Show. “She’s a bit of a night owl; she stays up a little bit later than your boy.”
“But sometimes you have this feeling at night where you’re like, ‘Aw man, I feel, ya know,’” he explained. “And so sometimes I have a little quality time with Sterling. And it helps me go to bed.”
Visibly stunned at his admission, Jennifer put her head in her hand as the audience applauded.
“I see many brothers who understand what I’m saying,” he added of the audience’s reaction, “and it’s in the spirit of transparency. Sometimes it helps me lie down.”
