Simone Biles Celebrates Being an “Olympic F**king Champion” With Husband Jonathan Owens
Jonathan Owens knows who the GOAT is in his household.
In fact, the Chicago Bears player showed no hesitation in calling wife Simone Biles the better athlete.
As Jonathan told Sports Illustrated in a video posted to X Jan. 16 from their Sportsperson of the Year event, “I’m not doing no backflips.”
While she might be the better athlete, Simone, 27, admitted that when it comes to being the better cheerleader, Jonathan, 29, wins hands down.
“He knows more and he really pays attention,” the gymnast explained. “After the first half I lose track of the game.”
As Jonathan noted, “I’ll be locked in. She’ll hear everybody else yelling and she’ll be like, ‘What happened?'”
But of course he’s grateful for the Olympian’s support either way, adding, “It’s the thought that counts.”
The couple—who married in April 2023—also agreed that Simone is the better cook, although she thinks Jonathan is the better dresser, joking, “I just wear sweats.”
