When it comes to fashion, Shay Mitchell‘s kids won’t be telling her any pretty little lies.
In fact, the Pretty Little Liars alum—mom to Atlas, 6, and Rome, 3, with partner Matte Babel—recently revealed how her daughters are keeping her humble.
“Even today, Atlas was like, ‘Are you wearing that? Is that the lipstick color?'” Shay exclusively told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala, presented by Paul Mitchell, at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Calif. (comma) on Nov. 8. “I’m like, ‘I love you so much.'”
The Béis founder—who turned heads in a cream blazer, matching maxi skirt and mauve lipstick at the event—continued, “Being 6 right now, it’s really spicy. It’s really fun and spicy and that’s how I describe it. But it’s awesome.”
Although, like many, Shay is still navigating mom guilt.
“There’s no such thing as balance,” she noted. “There really isn’t. I feel like the pendulum swings. Sometimes you feel guilty for not being at home because you’re at work, and sometimes when you’re at home, you feel guilty for not being at work. But you have to embrace that.”
