United States captain Keegan Bradley has named Jim Furyk as his fourth vice-captain for this year’s Ryder Cup.
Furyk, who captained the USA to a heavy 18.5-11.5 defeat to Europe in the 2018 Ryder Cup, joins up with Brandt Snedeker, Webb Simpson and Kevin Kisner on Bradley’s backroom staff in 2025.
The 45th Ryder Cup will take place from September 26-28 on the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York, exclusively live on Sky Sports.

The USA are looking to regain the cup after losing out in Rome two years ago. Europe were last successful on American soil in 2012 when pulling off the ‘Miracle of Medinah’ as they came back from 10-6 down to triumph after the Sunday singles.
Furyk played in nine consecutive Ryder Cups for the USA from 1997 before captaining them in 2018, while he also led his country in last year’s Presidents Cup as for the 10th straight time they beat a line-up of international players from outside Europe.
Bradley was a playing member of Furyk’s Presidents Cup squad, winning two of his three matches.

Keegan Bradley says he will carry the culture captain Jim Furyk set for their Presidents Cup victory into the 2025 Ryder Cup.
“Having Jim as a member of our leadership team is a huge advantage for us moving forward,” Bradley said.
“I had the privilege of playing for him in last year’s President’s Cup and his exceptional leadership, unwavering demeanour and wealth of experience made a huge impression on all of us.
“He knows what it takes to succeed in Ryder Cups and I cannot wait to work alongside him as we prepare for Bethpage Black.”

The 54-year-old Furyk’s nine appearances as a player rank second all-time in US Ryder Cup team history, while his 34 career matches in the event are tied for third.
Having already served as a Ryder Cup vice-captain three times, Furyk said on being appointed for a fourth time: “I am truly honoured to be chosen as one of Keegan’s vice-captains for the 2025 Ryder Cup.
“There is nothing in our game quite like the experience of representing the US in the Ryder Cup.
“I’m excited to work closely with Keegan, who brings incredible passion and leadership, as well as Webb, Brandt and Kevin to help our team reclaim the cup this September.”
