Pete Davidson is ready for his biggest role yet.
A week after his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt shared that they are expecting their first baby together, the Saturday Night Live alum shared just how excited he is to become a father.
At the New York premiere of The Home on July 22, he exclusively told E! News, “I’m very lucky and very, very happy.”
Pete explained that he’s looking forward to “being able to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have. I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have, and what you didn’t like, not do it.”
Plus, he’s got some great role models to turn to for advice, like fellow SNL dads Adam Sandler and Colin Jost.
“Everybody’s just been super excited for me, because they know it’s been my dream,” Pete told E!. “They all just have been like, ‘You’re going to be great at this. It’s the best thing you’ll ever do in your life.’ Sandler gave me some great advice.”
