Following the news, the Paddington actress and Grammy winner’s previous social media activity was looked at in a new light, as Nicole posted a photo of the couple to Instagram in June to celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary, while Keith did not share anything, instead just commenting a heart emoji on Nicole’s post.
And the duo had turned heads in July when Nicole—who is also mom to children Bella Cruise, 32, and Connor Cruise, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise—filed an application to become a resident of Portugal, but did not list Keith on the form.
However a source with knowledge told E! News at the time that the omission was simply due to a scheduling conflict, saying, “Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the U.S.”
“It is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa,” the source added. “He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule.”
