Bachelor’s Madison Prewett Details Being “Enslaved” by Porn and Masturbation Addiction
Madison Prewett and Grant Troutt are sharing a controversial parenting opinion.
Six months after the couple welcomed their baby girl Hosanna, they discussed their plans to discipline her with spanking.
“When we start spanking Hosanna,” Grant, who joined Madison on the July 7 episode of her Stay True podcast, said during the episode. “Which we will—on the record.”
Indeed, the couple—who tied the knot in 2022—agreed that the Bible encourages parents to spank their children.
“Some people say, ‘Well you can discipline them with time outs,’” Madison added, before noting a Bible verse she interpreted as encouraging spanking. “Hold on, it says ‘with a rod.’”
As Grant added, “She’s going to get a little bit.”
Madison assured, however, that spanking was not going to be violent.
“It’s going to be in a really loving way,” Madison continued. “Like, ‘Hey sweetheart, do you know why you’re being disciplined? Mommy does not want to discipline you. Mommy does not enjoy having to spank you.’ But there are consequences to disobedience.”
