Luke Bryan Hit in the Face by an Object During Concert

C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, don’t take aim at Luke Bryan.

The country music star and American Idol judge became the latest musician to be pelted during a performance when he was hit by a flying object during his finale performance of “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” at the North Dakota State Fair.

In a video shared to TikTok July 27, Luke was pelted with what appears to be a mini plush ball as he sang the final lines of his 2011 hit. And while the 49-year-old was briefly thrown off by the hit, and briefly stepped back to stabilize himself, he continued the song without missing a beat.

As the fan who shared the video wrote in the caption, “Carried on like a champ.”

Meanwhile, other fans expressed disappointment that Luke was hit at all.

“This is why we probably don’t get better concerts at the fair,” one fan wrote under the video. “I f–king hate people. There is no excuse for this.”

However, Luke getting pelted is not an isolated incident. In fact, many stars including Steve Lacy and Taylor Swift have spoken out about how tossing things on stage affects performances.
