Lamar Odom Reveals What Led to Reunion With Ex Khloé Kardashian 11 Years After Split
Khloe Kardashian will always have a place in Lamar Odom‘s heart.
The reality star came face-to-face with her ex-husband for the first time in nine years during the Feb. 6 season six premiere of The Kardashians, with Lamar surprisingly still referring to her as his “wife.”
After Khloe—who finalized her divorce from Lamar in 2016—handed back some of his belongings that were still in her possession, the former Los Angeles Lakers player joked, “My wife is the s–t.”
“OK,” the Good American founder quipped back, before brushing off his remark with a chuckle. “Calm down.”
But there was a reason why Khloe was guarded with her feelings.
“I don’t have a lot of emotions for this meeting,” she admitted in a confessional. “I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship. For years, this was such the love of my life that to learn how to unlove someone, to have to go through all that, it’s almost like a death.”
The 40-year-old continued, “So, him calling me his wife, words are empty.”
