Jennifer Aniston Soft-Launches Jim Curtis Romance in Rare Glimpse of Her Private World
Kerry Washington has no plans on turning the camera on her home life.
The Scandal alum and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha have kept their personal lives with their two children Isabelle, 11, and Caleb, 9, offline, and it’s a choice that at first, wasn’t all that easy.
“It was very hard at the beginning,” Kerry told InStyle in an interview published Sept. 8. “I’d look at a picture of my kid and send it to my mother: ‘This picture has to be in the world, but I don’t want to post it!’ When [my kids] started going to school and I knew I couldn’t protect them every moment of the day, it was scary.”
“Our kids get to be who they are,” Kerry—who married Nnamdi, also dad to a teenage daughter—added. “not who the world has decided they are.”
Indeed, while the Little Fires Everywhere star purposefully has kept her kids out of the spotlight, she admitted that it trickled into her and her husband’s love life as well.
