Needless to say, the proposal—which Hailee and Josh announced on Instagram Nov. 29 by posting a photo of him down on one knee in front of a flower arch, array of candles and oceanfront view as the sun set—was a total touchdown.
“I said I couldn’t wait any longer,” he gushed in the newsletter. “I said I can’t wait to start a family with you. I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said please.”

The pair first sparked romance rumors in May 2023 after they were spotted grabbing dinner in New York, and fans figured the two were in the relationship zone after they were spotted kissing in Mexico less than two months later. Although, Josh wasn’t thrilled the paparazzi intercepted their privacy.
“The fact anybody cares about that still blows my mind,” he said on an August 2023 episode of the Pardon My Take podcast. “They were on a boat. I saw it, and I just felt this gross feeling. Just like insecurity, no privacy. I was just like, ‘What is wrong with you?'”
