January is the season of resolutions. If you scribbled something into your journal promising to read such and such number of books in 2025, then this sale should come as cosmic confirmation bias.

Amazon First Reads is giving away two books for free to Prime members. Those without Prime can still take advantage of the deals: picking up two books for $1.99 each. Nab two new novels now and save, just in time for January blusters and long nights on the couch with your Kindle, swaddled in blankets.

Amazon First Reads editors picked an exciting lineup of new novels for January across genres. Voice Like A Hyacinth by Mallory Pearson is for the fantasy stans, with a story about five best friends with a supernatural twist. Eleven Numbers is the new thrilling short story from bestselling author Lee Child, pulling readers along through a labyrinth of intriguing plot twists involving a math professor thrust into mystery. There’s Something About Mira by Sonali Dev promises a dose of romance as well as a few laughs.

First Reads is free to join. When you do, you’ll get a monthly email from Amazon announcing new First Reads picks. Subscribing does not require a purchase.

Whether you opt to join the First Reads program with Prime to take advantage of the free content, or you’d prefer to pay as you go, First Reads deals make fresh new literature accessible. Sign up now to get two free Amazon First Reads books with Prime, or two for $1.99 each without Prime.
