These Shelter Pets Are Looking for a Home As Spring Kicks Off

Arizona

Arizona has been at OC Animal Care for about four months after spending some time with a foster family. However, she’s been in and out of the shelter for over a year.

Staff notations say she’s a sweet, friendly and playful pet who would thrive with an active family. Descriptions also say she enjoys playing fetch and would be a great walking, running or hiking buddy.

Arizona is currently available for adoption, and she’s also eligible for the shelter’s March adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over. She’s also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program.

Roca

Roca has been at the shelter for about three months after coming in as a stray. 

Staff descriptions say she’s a happy and friendly pet with a big heart. Notations also say she’s very affectionate and sits well for treats.

Roca is currently available for adoption, and she’s also eligible for the shelter’s March adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over. She’s also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program.

Simon

Simon has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for about a month after he was surrendered by a previous owner. 

Staff don’t have many details to share about Simon’s personality, but he is currently available for adoption.

The shelter is also hosting a Spring Into Love Adoption Event on March 28, when adoption fees will be reduced to $50 for all cats six months and older.

OC Animal Care, the county-run animal shelter in Tustin, is open daily for adoption visits from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, visitors can freely walk through the kennel areas to view the available animals.
