Cooking Demonstrations and Movie Screenings

The Westminster Library’s cooking demo this Saturday offers teens a chance to cook using hanami dango, a traditional Japanese sweet made from skewered rice flour dumplings. 

For those interested in watching a free movie this weekend, the Fullerton Public Library is showing “Wicked: For Good” on Saturday, and the Costa Mesa Donald Dungan Library is screening “To Catch a Thief” on Sunday. 

These are just a handful of the many free events and activities happening throughout Orange County – funded by public tax dollars.

Central Orange County

Cooking Demo

Teens are welcome to the Westminster Library to learn the basics of cooking with hanami dango. 

No registration required.

Listen to Bagpipe Music

Missed the bagpipe performance from earlier this month at the Cypress Library? There is another chance to hear bagpipe music during a performance at Garden Grove Chapman Library this Saturday.

Over 50 Tennis Group

Intermediate and experienced tennis players over 50 years old are welcome to play matches in a group at the Woodbridge High School courts. .

Registration is required. The next session from April 4 to June 27 is also open for registration.

Volunteer Newport Back Back Bay 

Join Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve staff and volunteers in restoring OC’s natural habitat. Activities can include non-native plant removal, watering, trash cleanup and more.
