These Homeless Pets Are Available For Adoption at OC Animal Care

Indy

Indy has been at OC Animal Care for about two weeks after he was returned by a previous adopter. Staff notations say he’s a fun and playful pet who’s still learning boundaries and would benefit from training.

Descriptions also say he knows how to “sit” on command and loves to play fetch.

Indy is currently available for adoption, and he’s also eligible for the shelter’s March adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Stewie

Stewie has been at the shelter for about two months after coming in as a stray. 

Staff notations say he’s a smart pet who may need a little training but can learn quickly. Descriptions also say he loves to go on long walks and run around the yard. 

Stewie is currently available for adoption, and he’s also eligible for the shelter’s March adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over. He’s also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program.

Dakota

Dakota has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for nearly two months after he was confiscated from a previous owner. 

Staff don’t have many details to share about Snugs’s personality, but he is currently available for adoption.

  • Age: 6 years
  • Weight: 11.85 pounds
  • Color: Brown, tabby
  • Breed: Domestic medium-hair

OC Animal Care, the county-run animal shelter in Tustin, is open daily for adoption visits from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, visitors can freely walk through the kennel areas to view the available animals.
