“This is a great award show,” Rogen shared on stage before giving kudoos to Netflix. “There’s food and drinks and s–t. Incredible. It’s not 100 million degrees in here, it’s wonderful. You were able to pay your own employees enough to keep the award show from being canceled. Take notes, WGA.”
The funnyman also didn’t miss an opportunity to publicly poke fun at his TV costar Ike Barinholtz.
“I hoped my ego was strong enough to withstand losing to Ike,” Rogen continued. “I’m glad I don’t have to find out. I would have been meaner to you at work, no matter what. It would have created a weird dynamic. I can admit that.
