“There was a little rumor 10 years ago that I was the one actually singing on 3 strikes,” Kylie wrote on Instagram Oct. 14 following the single’s release. “it wasn’t me (wish it was) so I had the idea to come together for fourth strike and it would actually be ME FEATURED!”
“I was soooooo nervous but so grateful,” she continued, before giving Carter a shoutout in the caption. “I couldn’t have done it without you thank you for setting me up with such an amazing team.”
Carter returned the love in a post of his own, writing alongside a selfie with the Kylie Cosmetics mogul, “This one means a lot to me…not just because it’s an incredible song, but because it came together through friendship, trust, and creativity. Watching Kylie step into this record and own every moment has been so inspiring.”
