Dancing With the Stars’ Elaine Hendrix Speaks Out on Hospitalization, Missing Halloween Episode

Jan Ravnik and Jen Affleck didn’t have enough tricks or treats to waltz into another week on the dance floor.

And that’s why they were the sixth couple eliminated during Dancing With the Stars season 34 on Halloween Night.

Jen reacted the news of their departure, telling hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, “This experience has meant everything to me. I cannot wait to talk about this in the future with my kids. I did this for my kids and I’m so grateful for the experience.”

As for Jan—who recently faced criticism from former pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd—he added of his partner, “She’s a rockstar, that’s all I’m gonna say.”

During the Oct. 28 episode, the pair danced Contemporary to Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do,” fully embracing the spooky theme and honoring Jan’s roots as an Eras Tour backup dancer.

They received 34 points combined from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough and former DWTS pro and two-time champion Cheryl Burke, plus bonus points from the Dance Monster-thon, leaving them seventh on the leaderboard.
