Grimes can’t keep her thoughts to herself when it comes to defending Selena Gomez.
Days after the Only Murders in the Building actress dropped her music video for “In The Dark” Oct. 23, the “Oblivion” singer slammed online posts criticizing how Selena looked in it.
“I’ve been in the internet for like 48 hours and despite minor benefits I might have to leave,” Grimes wrote in an Oct. 25 X post, quoting a hateful post. “Watched this Selena Gomez video, besides a few weird derp shots that ppl were able to clip and super misrepresent how she looks, she looks extremely beautiful, is prob one of the most beautiful girls.”
The 37-year-old—who shares X Æ A-XII, 5, Exa, 3, and Techno Mechanicus, 3, with ex Elon Musk—encouraged those writing such mean things about the Wizards of Waverly Place alum to think about how they would feel if they were being discussed in such a way on the internet.
