Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause Undergoes Surgery After “Vintage” Breast Implants Rupture
Alyssa Milano wasn’t charmed by comments about her body.
With the Who’s the Boss alum removing her breast implants, she shared a passionate reflection about her decision to undergo the procedure.
“Today I’m releasing those false narratives, the parts of me that were never actually parts of me,” Alyssa wrote on Instagram Sept. 24. “I’m letting go of the body that was sexualized, that was abused, that I believed was necessary for me to be attractive; to be loved; to be successful; to be happy.”
The actress—who shares son Milo, 14, and daughter Elizabella, 11, with husband David Bugliari—hopes to set an example for her daughter to keep her from “ever feeling those same unhealthy demands.”
Although this was the right decision for her, Alyssa—who also included a snap of herself smiling in a hospital gown ahead of her surgery—emphasized that it’s not the same for everyone.
