Jason Isaacs knows his White Lotus character’s family may have checked out when it comes to support.
Indeed, while Timothy Ratliff’s family may not know he almost tried to kill them in Thailand to avoid coming clean about their financial turmoil, without the money the actor behind the patriarch—who was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the Emmys—simply doesn’t see a world where his wife Victoria Ratliff (Parker Posey) could stand by him.
“Oh, I don’t know,” Jason, 62, exclusively told Live From E!: 2025 Emmys correspondent Heather McMahan at the Sept. 14 ceremony. “It depends on how much she wants to come and visit me in prison and smuggle things in her body parts.”
During season three of the series—nominated for a grand total of 23 awards—Timothy constantly contemplated suicide as he kept the massive secret from Victoria and their children Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger), Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola) during their stay at the luxurious resort. (With the secrets and Timothy’s increased desperation nearly costing his youngest son’s life.)
